Happy new year and also game
So I was bored for a couple of evenings. And then this came out.
I wanted to make a shooter game for a very long time and it will take a very long time before I make one. Because I want to make a feature-rich one and it takes time.
It's but a draft, but you can have fun for about five minutes. Ten if you're slow.
Most of the media assets are placeholders. I really want to make it nice looking, but nice look means I have to dive into blender for a week or two per asset and I can't afford to spend this much time now. It will, most likely, look surreal, this happens when you have to rely on third party assets from different creators. It's either looking surreal or looking like shit or an upfront payment worth of tens if not hundreds thousands of your favorite currency units ($, €, £). Or maybe I'll find an artist or two who'll donate this much worth of their time.
But, even with assets that are available without huge upfront payment, the problem is that most of them are either sincere crap or completely out of style or don't exist. So I'll have to create a lot of assets for this game. And I will, you have my promise. Just don't expect those assets to be AAA grade. But these green explody things are totally being replaced with something that looks at least as good as Skinny McSkinface. And that table will be replaced too.
